Wilmington Photographer Sarajane Case
If you are looking for a wedding photographer who's personality is as unique and artist as their photography style, you need to meet Sarajane Case. She is such a talented, fun individual! I recently became friends with Sarajane, and being in the wedding industry it is important to build as many friendships as possible. We sat down at Starbucks last week so Sarajane could interview me for her blog. I felt so important! Check out SayJay's blog to better get to know me and SayJay Photography!

No Stress!
Let's admit it, no matter how fun or how excited you can be about your wedding, stress is a part of the package. For a wedding coordinator all of these details are routine, but for a first time bride it can be overwhelming! If you haven't considered a planner thus far, think about it now. Your wedding day should be fun and stress free, for you (and your mother), and all of your guests. Some brides have everything under control, but a planner can come in the last week and take everything over. If you are this kind of bride, or if you are a bride that needs a little extra help with everything, please feel free to contact me! Our initial consultation together is always free.

Blue and Yellow - Mm smells like summer!
I feel like the perfect summer colors this year are bright blue and sunny yellow! These classic colors go together so well, and in an outdoor wedding venue will absolutely pop! For fresh ideas, actually think fresh. The best accents for your weddings are things that come naturally: lemons, blue and yellow flowers, blueberries, frosted cupcakes, and more.
Offer your guests fresh lemonade or a blueberry martini. Place a basket of lemons in the center of your table along with flowers to add a unique and summery feel to your event.

Fuchsia and Pewter with an Earthy Feel
I met with my new bride, Kate, and her Fiance, Sean, the other day to discuss a wide array of wedding details from hot vendors to hot decorations! Kate and Sean are getting married September 18th, 2010 at Fort Fisher with their reception at The Coastline Convention Center. Kate wants to use colors such as fuchsia and a satin pewter for bridesmaids dresses, but also have an earthy antique feel.
They have decided to skip using a lot of flowers and use that money on lights to really set the ambiance. The outdoor ceremony will consist of strands of of lighted bulbs overhead, lanterns illuminating the aisle way, and accent lights under the oak tress. This can all be done by my friend Steve Peterson of High Performance Lighting.
At the reception, Kate and I will be using our creative genus to give the blank brick room some flare! I am thinking possibly pewter overlays, a small fuchsia accent flower, with wicker baskets and/or candles in hurricane glasses. Stay tuned for more details!P.S. Check out this link at David's Bridal to pick any color for your bride's maids dresses! Super Cool!
